Meet the Farran team

What makes Farran different from any other company, is that over the years we have naturally built up a business family culture within our organization. The majority of our team started their careers here, fresh from their studies in local Universities and Institutes of Technology, and have remained working here with us 10, 20 and 30 years later. As of 2013 Farran is now solely owned by its employees through a management buyout which allows for flexibility to meet the changing needs of its clients, and further enables the company’s ability to become an even more versatile & responsive mmWave solutions provider.

What customers are saying about us

Joe Shirley

Laboratory & Production Manager at Compass Technology Group, LLC

We bought our first Farran frequency extenders from Copper Mountain for use with our C4220 on a measurement service contract in 2017. The extenders are easy to operate, integrate seamlessly with the Copper Mountain VNA, and provide precision data. Since 2017, we have used the extenders on dozens of projects. We even incorporated these extenders into our own product line as we designed The Millimeter Wave Focus Beam System which includes two Farran Frequency extenders. Working with Farran and Copper Mountain continues to be a pleasure and we look forward to working with both companies in the future!

Richard Poulton

Hardware Team Lead at Navtech Radar Ltd.

I have been working with Farran for around 10 years and have found them to be very knowledgeable, helpful, customer-orientated with great products. Work has included the supply of standard line items, bespoke designs, advice, and modifications, enabling key features in our products. I see Farran as a key partner for many years to come.

Irena Goloschokin

CEO, Copper Mountain Technologies

Farran has been a partner and collaborator of Copper Mountain Technologies since 2015. Together we have built an innovative solution for RF engineers, a frequency extension system utilizing a 9 GHz VNA. Farran approached this project with creativity and ingenuity, and many engineers benefited from this more affordable solution that doesn't sacrifice performance.

Quality Standards

Farran is committed to the highest standards of quality management throughout all aspects of our business. From your initial quotation through to final testing, packaging and delivery. It is our goal to meet or exceed technical performance for our products, while also maintaining the highest quality standards. The company has held the I.S. EN ISO 9001 Standard since September 1996 and implements a Quality Management System that meets or exceeds the requirements of this standard.
